Electrical engineer and former military contractor, Tyler is a detail-oriented collaborator who beats every deadline.

Tyler has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Eastern Washington University. He has been working in the public and private sectors since 2008, designing water and wastewater facilities. His professional experience includes working for the City of Spokane and for the Department of Defense, Inspector General’s Office in South Korea. 

That work history in a military setting shows in his work at Varela. Tyler is the definition of professionalism. He is detail-oriented, a good listener and collaborator, and he consistently meets or beats every deadline. 

As Varela’s Electrical Engineer, Tyler designs the electrical components for nearly every project: water treatment plants, wells, reservoirs, booster stations, wastewater treatment plants and lift stations.
